Professional career Born in Burlada, Navarra, Eslava was co-founder of the society La España Musical with Emilio Arrieta, Francisco Asenjo Barbieri, and Joaquín Gaztambide to defend Spanish opera and zarzuela.
Death He died in Madrid aged 70.
