Willard "Mike" Blystone Ransom (1916–1995) was an American lawyer, businessman, community civic leader, and a civil rights activist in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a leader in the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in Indiana during the early years of the civil rights movement.
Early life and education Willard B. Ransom was born on May 17, 1916, and was the son of Freeman Ransom. Ransom and his family lived much of their life in Indianapolis near Indiana Avenue, in what is now called the Ransom Place Historic District.
He married Gladys Williams. The Ransom Family Papers (1912–2011) are archived at the Indiana Historical Society.
