Siamese invasion of Cambodia (1769-1771)

After Siamese King Taksin defeats burmese army in 1767, During Cambodian King Outey II Reign, there were two wars with Siam, The first war was in 1769, when Siam launched a land attack on Banteay Pech but failed to succeed due to news of King Taksin's death, forcing them to withdraw. The second war occurred in 1771. Thai sources state that Siam captured Banteay Pech, and Cambodian King Outey II fled to Vietnam , subsequently crowning King Ang Non II of Cambodia as the new King. However, Cambodian sources say that Siam failed to capture Banteay Pech and allowed King Ang Non II to reside in Kampot Province. In 1775, when Annam's support for Cambodian King Outey II weakened, Cambodian King Outey II abdicated to King Ang Non II, who served as Crown Prince until his death in 1777.
