Mei-Chi Shaw

Mei-Chi Shaw (; born 1955) is a Taiwanese-American mathematician. She is a professor of mathematics at the University of Notre Dame. Her research concerns partial differential equations and complex analysis.

Life and career Shaw was born in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1955. She graduated from National Taiwan University with a bachelor's degree in mathematics in 1977. She then completed doctoral studies in the United States, earning her Ph.D. in mathematics from Princeton University in 1981 under Joseph Kohn.

After receiving her doctorate, took a postdoctoral position at Purdue University For 2019 she received the Stefan Bergman Prize.
