Abraham Solomon Baylinson (6 January 1882 – May 1950) was a Russian-American painter who was active in the early modernist movement.
Early life and education
Born in Moscow, Russia on 6 January 1882, the Baylinson family moved to the United States around 1892. Baylinson studied at the Art Students League of New York the National Academy of Design and the New York School of Art. When he began painting after the fire his style had evolved into representational art.
He died on 6 May 1950 in New York City.
