Wayne Tippit

Wayne Tippit (December 19, 1932 – August 28, 2009) was an American television and stage character actor. He was best known to television audiences for playing Ted Adamson on the 1970s and 1980s CBS soap opera, Search for Tomorrow, for five years.

Death Tippit received a single lung transplant in 2000 as treatment for severe emphysema.
