Doctor Tu Tongjin (Chinese: 涂通今, 11 September 1914 – 3 April 2023) was a Chinese military officer and neurosurgeon. He was one of the last survivors of the Long March. Tu joined the Chinese Red Army in September 1934 against his parents wishes. He was trained as a medic; unlike most soldiers he had some primary school education. He became a founding major general of the People's Liberation Army in 1964. Tu taught neurosurgery at the Fourth Military Medical University in Xi'an, Shaanxi for 20 years.
Tu died on 3 April 2023 at the age of 108.
