Born 1966. Scott Fortune is an American volleyball player.
Scott Thomas Fortune (born January 23, 1966) is an American former volleyball player. Fortune was an All-American at Stanford University and a three-time Olympian for the United States national team. He helped the United States win the gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics and the bronze medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
Early life Fortune played for the volleyball team at Laguna Beach High School.
College Fortune played for Stanford from 1985 to 1989.
In 1998, Fortune was inducted into the Stanford Athletics Hall of Fame.
International Fortune joined the national team in 1986. In 1991, he was named the USOC Male Volleyball Athlete of the Year. was named best digger.
Professional Fortune played on the 4-Man Pro-Beach Tour from 1992 to 1995.
