Robert Auth

Robert Joseph Auth (born July 4, 1956) is an American politician from New Jersey who represents the 39th Legislative District in the New Jersey General Assembly since taking office on January 14, 2014. He was a delegate to the Republican National Committee in 2016. In the Assembly, he currently serves on the Financial Institutions and Insurance Committee, the Commerce and Economic Development Committee, and the Judiciary Committee

Auth is the Chief Executive Officer at Plaza Travel and Insurance Services Ltd., a company he founded in 1985. He previously served as an aide to Gerald Cardinale, advising on insurance and economic matters, and was a teacher for the North Bergen School District from 2004 to 2006.

Auth endorsed Donald Trump for President of the United States in 2016, the first legislator from New Jersey to do so. Auth was also invited to attend Trump's inauguration.
