Josimar Higino Pereira (born 19 September 1961), more commonly known as Josimar, is a Brazilian former footballer. Throughout his career, he played as a right-back, mainly with Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas and the Brazil national team. In his prime, he was named the best right-back in the world by FIFA.
During the 80s, he was also linked with Scottish side Dundee United and English side Manchester United. He also took part at the 1987 and 1989 editions of the Copa América, winning the latter tournament. South American Team of the Year: 1986, 1987
