Lived 1922 – 1997 (aged 75). Jean-Marie Domenach was a French writer, journalist, intellectual, columnist, french resistance fighter and opinion journalist.

Jean-Marie Domenach (; 13 February 1922 – 5 July 1997) was a French writer and intellectual. He was noted as a left-wing and Catholic thinker.

In February 1971, Domenach co-founded the Groupe d'Information sur les Prisons (GIP) along with historian Pierre Vidal-Naquet and philosopher Michel Foucault.

He died in Paris in 1997, aged 75.
