Anwar Hamed

Anwar Hamed (; born 1957) is a Palestinian novelist and poet. He was born in Anabta, Palestine, The short film based on this story, directed by Rakan Mayasi, was shown in several American, European and Arab film festivals and cinemas.

His most recent novel is أشباه وأشباح, which was published in Arabic in 2023.

His novel Jaffa Prepares Morning Coffee was longlisted for the 2013 Arabic Booker Prize.
