Andrew Dan-Jumbo is a Nigerian-born television personality and carpenter. He is known for his appearances on home-improvement television programmes, including While You Were Out, Take Home Handyman, Trading Spaces and Operation Build.
Early life
Dan-Jumbo was born in Nigeria and raised in London, England.
Career
Dan-Jumbo became known in the United States as a carpenter on the TLC home-improvement series While You Were Out. He appeared in the programme's original run from 2002 to 2006.
He subsequently hosted Take Home Handyman, a TLC programme in which he assisted homeowners with home-improvement projects. The programme premiered in 2007 and ran for two seasons.
Dan-Jumbo also appeared as a carpenter on the television series Trading Spaces.
In 2014, he became a co-star of Operation Build, a home-improvement television programme broadcast on the History Channel.
