Zsófia Józsefné Szalatnyay Dénes (14 January 1885 – 22 January 1987) was a Hungarian writer. In 1976, she established the Ady Prize in his honour.
Dénes wrote the first Hungarian biography of Vladimir Lenin. She knew prominent figures of her time such as Sigmund Freud and poet Rainer Maria Rilke.
She died in Budapest at the age of 102.
