About Zmago Sagadin

Born 1952. Zmago Sagadin is a Slovenian and Yugoslav basketball coach and color commentator.

Zmago Sagadin (; born 1 November 1952) is a Slovenian basketball coach. He has won 25 national and international championship titles, and has been named Slovenian Top Coach of the Year nine times.

Career Sagadin's most recent head-coaching position was with MZT Skopje during the 2014–15 season. He has subsequently worked as a sports commentator, basketball consultant and mentor. From 2011 to 2014, he was a member of the coaching staff at KK Helios Domžale, where he was involved in the development of young players, including Klemen Prepelič, Gregor Hrovat, Blaž Mahkovic and Matic Rebec.

Sagadin has been described as a founder of Slovenia's first national basketball team and a co-founder of the Adriatic Basketball League. He has also written basketball-related articles, served as president of the Slovenian Basketball Coaches Association for eight years, and lectured at seminars and clinics organised by the KZS, FIBA and ULEB.

He helped the career of Igor Rakočević, Scoonie Penn, Obinna Ekezie, Mindaugas Žukauskas, Sandro Nicević, Yotam Halperin.
