About Victor Huot

Lived 1822 – 1904 (aged 81–82). Victor Huot was a French and American architect, manufacturer and building contractor.

Victor Huot (February 17, 1822 – June 1904) was a French-born American architect and builder. He was mostly active in Davenport, Iowa, but also worked in New Orleans, Louisiana, and Cleveland, Ohio. He was the son of Marie Justin and Jean Baptiste Huot. In 1870 he partnered with C. G. Hipwell to do slate roof work. He was survived by his wife and two children.
