Political career
Uchechukwu N. Maduako was elected to represent Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency of Abia State in the House of Representatives in the 1999 general election on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
He served as a member of the 4th National Assembly (1999β2003) and was re-elected in 2003, serving in the 5th National Assembly (2003β2007) representing the same constituency.
His tenure covered Nigeria's early Fourth Republic, during which he participated in federal legislative activities as a member of the House of Representatives. After completing his second term in 2007, he left the National Assembly.
