Born 1960. Tom Barrett is an American baseball player.
Thomas Loren Barrett (born April 2, 1960) is an American former second baseman who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Philadelphia Phillies (1988–1989) and Boston Red Sox. He was a switch-hitter and threw right-handed. He remained in New York's farm system until being traded to the Philadelphia Phillies on December 11, 1986.
Barrett's older brother, Marty Barrett, played with the Boston Red Sox and San Diego Padres between 1982 and 1991.
