Stanko Tavčar (2 February 1898 in Dobrova, Austro-Hungary – 11 July 1945 in Ljubljana, Yugoslavia) was a Yugoslav footballer and later a medical doctor.
He was the first Slovenian footballer who played in the Yugoslavia national team. both of them at the 1920 Summer Olympics tournament in Belgium.
Post-playing career He studied medicine at Charles University in Prague and after retiring from football, he practiced medicine in Ljubljana, Kranj and Vienna.
