About Sayed Shah Nasir Naderi
Sayed Shah Nasir Naderi was a politician.
Sayed Shah Nasir Naderi is an Afghan politician and a Nizari Ismaili religious leader. He was elected from Dushi District in Baghlan Province to the Shura-e-Milli, the lower house of Afghanistan's parliament, in the 1969 Afghan parliamentary election. During the thirteenth term of the House of the People, he served as its second deputy speaker.
Naderi is the eldest son of Sayed Nadir Shah Kayani. Following his father's death in 1971, he became a leader of the Afghan Ismaili community. In the early 1980s, he transferred this responsibility to his brother, Sayed Mansur Naderi. However according to the Ismaili Constitution responsibility or religious roles are appointed by Aga Khan not by appointee or by any individual but greed and power have led him to divide the Ismailis in Afghanistan in two sects.
In 2003, President Hamid Karzai included Naderi among the appointed members of the Constitutional Loya Jirga. The Institute for War and Peace Reporting described him at the time as a leader of Afghanistan's Ismaili community.
