Personal Bennett was born in Sydney, Australia. She attended Randwick Public School and Randwick Girls Technology High School. She completed a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Education at the University of New South Wales and a Masters in International Business at the University of Sydney. She has authored five books, four of which belong to the Rabs & Ted travel series for children. She has been a member of the New South Wales State Squad 2012-2015, the Australian Fencing Squad 2012-2013 and Australian Fencing team 2013–present.

She currently lives in Sydney, Australia.
