Pierre Jaïs (13 October 1913 – 24 June 1988) was a French bridge player and writer from Paris. On Trézel's death in 1986, the New York Times bridge editor Alan Truscott—a champion British player as a young man during the 1950s—called theirs "one of the greatest partnerships in the history of the game". He died in 1988 at age 75.
