Given Sudan’s continuing failure to prosecute the perpetrators, the Security Council needs to refer the situation of Darfur to the International Criminal Court. On the subject of political violence in Zambia, Takirambudde stated If the Zambian police fail to initiate an immediate and full investigation into the killing of a leading politician, political violence in Zambia is going to continue. Justice must be served for the immediate victims of this attack, as well as for the entire population of Zambia.
