Peter Snow

Peter Frederick Briscoe Snow (6 June 1927–August 29 2008) with the help of Nicholas Georgiadis and later, Yolanda Sonnabend.

Life and work Peter Snow, son of Frederick Snow, was educated at Bloxham School in Oxfordshire, where he showed an early talent for painting and was involved in designing sets for school plays. In 1946, he studied briefly at Goldsmiths College and worked as a journalist on the South London Press before doing his national service with the Royal Engineers in the Middle East. Following his time in the army he gained a scholarship to the Slade School of Fine Art, studying until 1953 and joining the staff in 1957. He was head of theatre design, succeeding Robert Medley. Wirth died in 2017. Towards the end of his Snow's he suffered from Alzheimer's disease. He died 29 August 2008.
