Paul Lawrence Farber (March 7, 1944 – November 28, 2021) was a professor of the history of science at Oregon State University. He wrote or edited eight books about the history of science as well as dozens of articles. He was an elected fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

In 2010, he was elected president of the History of Science Society.
