Noble Webster Doss (May 22, 1920 – February 15, 2009) was an American professional football player who was a halfback for the Philadelphia Eagles of the National Football League (NFL) and the New York Yankees of the All-America Football Conference (AAFC). He played college football for the Texas Longhorns. He was drafted by the Eagles in the 11th round of the 1942 NFL draft (#93 overall).
Early Life Doss was born in Temple, Texas and played high school football at Temple High School.
He was named to the Texas High School Sports Hall of Fame in 1995.
College Career
He played in the 1946 Chicago Charities College All-Star Game.
