He previously represented the Mochudi West constituency in the National Assembly. He qualified as a lawyer and was admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of Botswana, as well as a Conveyancer and Notary Public. By 2021, he was recognised in regional and diplomatic sources as heading Botswana's Investment, Trade and Industry ministry.
