Lady Mary Reford Gooderham (September 28, 1863 - March 18, 1955) was an American-born Canadian philanthropist. She served as National President of the Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire (IODE).
Early life and education Marietta Reford Duncanson was born in Trenton, Michigan, on September 28, 1863. Her parents were Andrew Duncanson of Argyleshire, Scotland, and Melinda (Nutson) Duncanson. She was brought to Canada at the age of two. (later renamed Protestant Women's Federation), and was President of the council.
Awards and honours Created Lady of Grace of the Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem, 1913
In politics, she was Conservative. In religion, she was Anglican. Her residence, "Deancroft" was in Rosedale, Toronto.
In March 1914, the Mary Gooderham Chapter of the IODE was established.
