Manush Romanov (, ; 1928 – 10 December 2004), born Mustafa Aliyev , was a Bulgarian politician and Romani rights activist. He was a member of the National Assembly from 1990 to 1991, representing the Union of Democratic Forces.
Biography Manush Romanov was born Mustafa Aliyev in 1928, to a Turkish Roma family in Sofia. Prior to his political career, he worked as a theatre director at the . Aliyev was also a playwright and collected folklore. Aliyev adopted the name "Manush Romanov" as part of the Revival Process. At this time, he came under surveillance by the Committee for State Security.
Romanov died on 10 December 2004, in Istanbul.
