Kevin Reddington

Kevin Reddington (born February 9, 1951) is a Massachusetts-based criminal defense attorney who has led a number of high profile cases criminal defense cases including one involving Whitey Bulger, and is currently leading the defense in the Lindsay Clancy trial. Reddington is a 1975 graduate of Suffolk University Law School in Boston.

Lindsay Clancy Trial The 2026 (currently ongoing) criminal trial of Lindsay Clancy surrounds an alleged incident of a young mother accused of killing her three young children and attempting suicide in the Massachusetts town of Duxbury in 2023 due to maternal postpartum psychosis following the birth of her third child.

Reddington's defense has raised numerous concerns with the State of Massachusetts' prosecution case against Clancy, including inadequate crime scene investigation, medical witnesses with limited or contradictory knowledge of the medical matters raised, and a case heavily reliant on her husband, Patrick Clancy's, solo attestations to local police at the crime scene.

The case has drawn widespread national attention for its focus on the challenges of maternal postpartum care, postpartum psychosis, and psychiatric clinical care management.
