Kenzie Morrison

James McKenzie Witt (born July 18, 1990) known professionally as Kenzie Morrison, is an American professional boxer and bare-knuckle boxer. He is the son of deceased former World Boxing Organization heavyweight world champion Tommy Morrison. In August 2026 KTUL news reported that Morrison has terminal stage 4 stomach cancer which has metastasized to his spine and other parts of his body. He sought treatment in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A GoFundMe was created for Morrison that has raised $30,000 as of August 31, 2026. Morrison has stated he does not have health insurance coverage.

Early Life & Education Morrison is the son of Tammy (Witt) Hooker and Tommy Morrison. His father boxed on television networks such as HBO, ESPN, ABC and on cards that were part of USA Tuesday Night Fights. His parents met when they attended Jay High School in Jay, Oklahoma in the late 1980's. Kenzie is of Scottish, German and Native American ancestry. His father was charged with assaulting his mother at a house party a few weeks after he lost to Lennox Lewis in October 1995. Morrison graduated from Colcord High School in Colcord, Oklahoma in 2009.

Professional career Prior to his cancer diagnosis he boxed professionally from 2014 to 2024. Morrison turned professional in boxing despite having only one amateur boxing match in 2013. However, he did play high school varsity basketball for Colcord High School which helped his athleticism in the boxing ring. Morrison has a pro record of 22–1–2 (20 KO's). Morrison drew against Chris Harris in 2015 and Aaron Chavers in 2016. From 2014 to 2017 he competed 13 times at Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Oklahoma.

He defeated Hasim Rahman Jr. by TKO on April 29, 2022 at Virgin Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada in a match contested the USA-USNBC heavyweight belt. In his next fight, Morrison suffered an upset loss to Robert Simms by unanimous decision on October 22, 2022 in Kansas City. Many have questioned the quality of Morrison's opposition. His first four opponents had zero boxing wins when they faced him, while his first ten opponents had a combined boxing record of 12 wins and 17 losses.

Bare-knuckle boxing Morrison made his Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship debut against Alex Davis on June 21, 2025 at BKFC 76 and won by technical knockout one minute into the first round.

Personal Life Morrison married long time girlfriend Kristen Hada on August 26, 2026. They share a fourteen year old son. His half brother Trey Lippe Morrison has also boxed professionally.
