John Lawrence Bevan (10 May 1846 – 31 March 1918) was an Australian cricketer. He played one first-class match for South Australia in 1877/88.
Born in Swansea, Wales, Bevan played in South Australia's inaugural first-class match, against Tasmania at the newly opened Adelaide Oval in November 1877. before moving to Melbourne to take up a position with the Melbourne Cricket Club.
