Lived 1668 – 1735 (aged 66–67). Jakub Auguston was a Swiss architect, general contractor, plastering and master builder.

Jakub Auguston Jr. (born Giacomo Agustoni; – 3 August 1735) was a Czech Baroque architect of Italian descent. He lived in Plzeň and worked in entire West Bohemia.

Life

Giacomo Agustoni was born in Rome between 1665 and 1670 (some sources specify that it was in 1665 or 1670, others state 1668 ) He was member of a branched family of Italian bricklayers and builders active in Bohemia from the first half of the 17th century. His uncle invited him to Plzeň and from then on Giacomo Agustoni was known as Jakub Auguston Jr.
