Ifeanyi Uchendu is a Nigerian politician who represented Ohafia South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly. He was elected on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in 2015 and later joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Political career
Ifeanyi Uchendu was elected to represent Ohafia South State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly in the 2015 general election on the platform of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA). He served in the 6th Assembly from 2015 to 2019.
Ahead of the 2019 general election, Uchendu joined the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and was re-elected to the House of Assembly. Following the inauguration of the 7th Assembly, he was elected Deputy Speaker, a position he held from 2019 to 2023.
In May 2023, Uchendu participated in the removal of Speaker Chinedum Enyinnaya Orji by members of the Assembly and presided over the sitting that elected a new Speaker.
