Vice Admiral Henry Allan Porter CMM, CD (17 August 1922 – 13 March 2016) was a Canadian Forces officer who served as Commander Maritime Command from 6 July 1970 to 18 October 1971.
Career Porter joined the Royal Canadian Navy as an ordinary telegraphist in 1939 and underwent seamanship training before serving as communications officer in HMCS Kootenay during the Second World War. He became Commanding Officer of the frigate in 1952, Commanding Officer of the frigate in 1953 and officer in charge of the Communications School on the East Coast in 1954. and died on 13 March 2016.
