Haley Peters

Haley McCloskey Peters (born September 17, 1992) is an American professional basketball player for the Perth Lynx of the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL). She played college basketball for the Duke Blue Devils.

Early life Peters was born in Summit, New Jersey. She attended Peddie School in Hightstown, New Jersey, where she was a McDonald's All-American and New Jersey Gatorade Player of the Year in 2010. She played for the San Antonio Stars during the 2016 and 2017 seasons. At the end of the 2017 season, she signed a seven-day contract with the Mystics. She played for the Atlanta Dream during the 2019 season.

Peters joined the Connecticut Sun for the 2025 WNBA season. She appeared in 33 games, including two starts, averaging 2.1 points, 2.2 rebounds, 0.8 assists, and 0.3 steals per game.

Overseas Peters played three seasons in Spain between 2014 and 2017 for Baxi Ferrol (2014–15), Conquero Huelva Wagen (2015–16) and Spar Girona (2016–17). She played two seasons in France between 2017 and 2019 for Lyon (2017–18) and Flammes Carolo Basket Ardennes (2018–19) before playing in Turkey for Hatay Bsb in 2019–20.

In May 2026, Peters joined the Dandenong Rangers of the NBL1 South. She played four games for the Rangers during the 2026 NBL1 season.

In August 2026, Peters signed with the Perth Lynx for the 2026–27 WNBL season.

Personal life Peters is the daughter of Kurt Peters and Sharon McCloskey. She has two brothers, Casey and Ryan. Casey was a member of the Duke men's basketball team and graduated in 2011.
