Fred

Bruno Carneiro Nunes (born April 25, 1989), known professionally as Fred Bruno, is a Brazilian YouTuber, television presenter, journalist, digital influencer and former futsal player. He became widely known as a presenter of the football-focused YouTube channel , where he worked from 2015 to 2024. He is currently part of Grupo Globo.

Career

Born in São Paulo, Fred Bruno studied journalism at the . He initially aspired to become a professional footballer but instead pursued a career in sports journalism. In 2014, he and university friends created the YouTube channel Futebol Nas 4 Linhas.

In 2015, Bruno joined after winning a competition to become a new presenter. He became one of the channel's most recognizable personalities, hosting segments such as Fred+10 and Desafio do Fred. Through Desimpedidos, he covered major sporting events including the FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League, Copa América, Copa Libertadores, and the 2016 Summer Olympics.

Bruno also worked in television, presenting programs for Fox Sports Brasil and ESPN Brasil. In 2019, he was included in Forbes Brasil's Forbes 30 Under 30 list.

In 2020, Bruno pursued his long-time ambition of becoming a professional futsal player. He joined Magnus Futsal and documented the experience in the YouTube series Vai Pra Cima, Fred!. He played in the club's 2020 season and won the Liga Nacional de Futsal and the Copa Internacional.

In 2021, Bruno became a playable character in the FIFA 21 Volta mode alongside other celebrity figures. In 2023, Bruno competed in Big Brother Brasil 23, finishing in 10th place.

After nine years with Desimpedidos, Bruno announced his departure from the channel in June 2024. In August 2024, he joined Grupo Globo, where he became involved in sports programming.

Personal life

Fred Bruno is a supporter of Palmeiras. He has one son, Cris, born in 2021, from his former relationship with influencer Bianca Andrade. He later dated Larissa Santos, whom he met during Big Brother Brasil 23.
