Daniel Waters (born November 10, 1962) is an American screenwriter and film director. He is the older brother of director Mark Waters, and is best known for writing the movies Heathers and Batman Returns, co-writing Hudson Hawk and Demolition Man, and writing and directing Happy Campers.
Early life Waters was born in Cleveland, Ohio and raised in South Bend, Indiana.
