Cullen James Rogers (May 29, 1921 – November 1, 1997) was an American professional football halfback who played one season with the Pittsburgh Steelers of the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Cleveland Rams in the 16th round of the 1943 NFL draft. He played college football and baseball at Texas A&M University.
Early life Cullen James Rogers was born on May 29, 1921, in Mart, Texas. He attended Mart High School in Mart. Rogers was also a three-year letterman in baseball from 1941 to 1943. He was a team captain in both sports as a senior.
Professional career Rogers was selected by the Cleveland Rams in the 16th round, with the 145th overall pick, of the 1943 NFL draft. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
Personal life Rogers died on November 1, 1997, in McLennan County, Texas.
