Charles A. "Charlie" Skeete (December 9, 2017) was a Barbadian economist and diplomat. He served as Barbados' Ambassador to the United States from 1981 to 1983 and Permanent Representative of Barbados to the Organization of American States (OAS) during the 1980s.
A graduate of the University of the West Indies, Skeete became one of the Caribbean's leading economists.
In 2006, Skeete's alma mater, the Combermere School, inducted him into its Blue Ribbon Class of distinguished alumni. he was survived by his wife, Joylyn Skeete, and son, Nicholas Skeete.
