As a member of this organisation, he advocated that JDU should contest from Ujiarpur Lok Sabha constituency in place of Bharatiya Janata Party, with Ashwamedh Devi as its candidate. He also advocated ministerial berth for Ram Balak Singh Kushwaha in Government of Bihar.
