Boriss Bunejev

Boris Alekseyevich Buneyev (; 11 August 1921 – 1 September 2015) was a Soviet and Russian film and voice director. He was awarded the title of Honoured Worker of the Arts Industry of the RSFSR in 1973.

Biography Buneyev graduated from the directing department of VGIK in 1944, as part of Sergei Eisenstein's masterclass.

In 1944-1949, he was a director at Mosfilm, and then in 1949-1951 and 1952-2005, at the Gorky Film Studio.
