Biography
Craig was born in Hampstead in north London into a family of artists. He was educated at Rugby School. Craig moved to South Africa and worked as professor of painting at the Michaelis School of Fine Art in Cape Town from 1926 to 1933. From 1946 when he was elected a member, Craig exhibited regularly with the New English Art Club. Craig died in Chelsea and a retrospective exhibition of his work was held in 1987 at the New Art Centre.
