Alexander Lockwood (born Alexander Wyricz; May 5, 1902 – January 25, 1990) was an American actor. He appeared in numerous films and television shows throughout the 1930s to the 1980s.

Biography Lockwood was born Alexander Wyricz in Poland He came to the United States when he was 4 years old. His parents lived in Chicago, and he had two sisters. He performed with the Clemant-Walsh troupe in 1927. His Broadway debut occurred in 1938 in Soliloquy. His other Broadway credits included Hamlet (1945 and 1946), The Biggest Thief in Town (1949), and Remains to Be Seen (1952). He died in 1990 at the age of 87.
