About Ajit Bharihoke

Ajit Bharihoke was an Indian judge.

Early life, education and career

He earned an LLB degree from Panjab University, Chandigarh and subsequently joined Delhi Judicial Service on 7 December 1974. He served in many judicial positions such as Additional District and Sessions Judge, Special Judge Anti Corruption (CBI), etc. He became Registrar General, Delhi High Court from 6 January 2007 to 13 May 2009. This was the first case of a Prime Minister to be convicted in a criminal case.
