Abubakar Abdullai Ahmad (also known as Abu Audu) is a Nigerian politician. He was born in 1968 in Sokoto State, Nigeria, and holds a degree (or diploma) in Civil Law.
Political career Ahmad was elected to the House of Representatives in 2019, representing the Sokoto North/Sokoto South Federal Constituency on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
In a January 2020 rerun election for the same constituency, he defeated the All Progressives Congress candidate, Bala Hassan, polling 68,985 votes to Hassan’s 42,433 votes.
As a federal lawmaker he has sponsored constituency projects including the construction of classroom blocks, an asphalt road with drainage in Mabera Madam Karo (Sokoto South), and multiple solar-powered boreholes across communities in Sokoto North and Sokoto South local government areas.
