Yau Ching

Yau Ching (; born 1966) is a Hong Kong writer, filmmaker, and scholar. She was educated in Hong Kong, New York City and London.

Biography Yau was born and raised in Hong Kong. She briefly attended California State University to pursue a master's degree in theatre arts but withdrew after three months. She has taught at the University of Michigan, the University of California, San Diego, and Lingnan University. Currently, she is a professor at National Central University in Taiwan.
