About Wolfgang Zöller
Born 1942. Wolfgang Zöller is a German politician.
He was the Federal Government Commissioner for Patients' Affairs from 2009 to 2013 and had previously been deputy chairman of the CDU/CSU parliamentary group in the Bundestag since 2004.
Biography After completing his Mittlere Reife at the Staatliche Realschule Klingenberg, Zöller underwent an apprenticeship as a mechanic, which he completed with a skilled worker examination. Subsequently, he attended the Nuremberg Institute of Technology where he graduated as a Diploma Engineer in Mechanical Engineering (FH).
Wolfgang Zöller is Catholic, married, and the father of two children.
Member of parliament In 1969, Zöller became a member of the Young Union and the CSU. From 1989 to 1995, he served as the chairman of the CSU district association in Miltenberg. Additionally, from 2002 to 2004, he was the chair of the working group on Health and Social Security, Family, Seniors, Women, and Youth within the CSU state group.
