William T. Golden (October 25, 1909 – October 7, 2007) was an American investment banker, philanthropist, and science adviser.
Golden was born October 25, 1909, in New York City; his parents were both the children of poor Lithuanian immigrants to the U.S., and his father worked in the textile industry and later became a banker. He was a member of the American Philosophical Society, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the National Academy of Sciences.
Golden was married three times, to Sibyl Levy, with whom he had two daughters, to mathematician Jean Taylor, and to Catherine Morrison.
