Vidal Arellano

Vidal Antonio Arellano Peña y Lillo (28 April 1867 – 18 August 1938) was a Chilean politician, lawyer and judge who served as a member of the Chamber of Deputies of Chile.

A member of the Liberal Party, he represented Constitución, Cauquenes and Chanco from 1918 to 1921. He served as first vice president of the Chamber of Deputies in 1920 and was a member of the Permanent Elections Commission and the Permanent Budget Commission.

He studied law at the University of Chile and qualified as a lawyer on 28 December 1891. He later pursued a judicial career, serving as judge in Cauquenes, Valparaíso and Santiago. He was also active as a farmer in Cauquenes, where his properties were devoted to livestock, viticulture and other agricultural activities.
